About Amelia

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • General Color: Brown Tabby
  • Current Age: 10 Years 8 Months (best estimate)
  • Declawed: No
  • Housetrained: Yes

Amelia is one of a litter of 6 babies found in a barn at about 5-6 weeks of age. The litter was brought to Friends for Life Animal Rescue and the kittens were taught about the joys of being pet by humans and were raised with lots of love.

Amelia is a player and a snuggler and also enjoys naps in the sun, and treats. She is definitely a kitty for someone who wants interaction and cuddles, not aloofness, and she is looking for her forever home now!

Amelia would be fine with other cats or as an only kitty. She has seen dogs but has not interacted with them; with a respectful dog and a good introduction period, she will likely be fine. She does enjoy respectful kids, too.

Amelia tested negative for feline leukemia and feline AIDS and is spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas, ear mites, and worms. Her adoption fee is $120 (payable in cash or by check - sorry, no cards). She will still need her booster shot and rabies vaccination, which are at the adopter's expense.

For more information about or to meet and/or adopt Amelia, please contact foster Karen Sorsdal at 360-757-6589 or 360-333-7041 (please call both numbers and leave messages!) or via e-mail at Karen.sorsdal@comcast.net
