Chunky Monkey (not the most flattering name, but he came looking plump and fluffy!) likes his people and toys. He romps and plays with his puppy buddies but would be great as an only or with an older role model (not too old, though). He's a little whiny right now as he learns to part company with people or puppies, unless you really wear him out!

Chunky Monkey is a puppy and will need time and patience to potty train him as well as to teach him to walk on a lead, chew only on his toys, and keep his feet on the floor.  He needs a family that will commit to taking a training class with him and would benefit from more puppy play/socialization time.

Chunky is on the rough side as a player right now and will require careful supervision with small children to ensure their safety. He does NEED a person who will commit to training to make sure that he develops the appropriate behaviors for a forever family life.

Chunky Monkey has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and treated for fleas and worms. His adoption fee is $200 cash. He will be available to meet and adopt at the Mount Vernon Petco store on Saturday, December 29 from 11 am to 3 pm, or contact foster Gail at 360-420-2183.
