Fritter is shy at first but is very sweet once she's comfortable and she is about 3.5 months old. More than anything else she LOVES to play whether it's with us or with other kittens and cats. She will definitely need a playful cat or kitten companion in her home. Fritter settles down for pets and attention from us once she's burned off all of her energy and purrs like crazy. If you want to pet and snuggle her while she's amped up, forget it! She'll pounce and zoom away.    

Fritter is very well behaved when it comes to scratching on things...she only uses her post and cardboard scratcher but she does like to climb, so cat trees are a must to keep her from climbing up things she shouldn't. She uses the litter box like a pro and does well during nail trims. Fritter does very well with other cats and kittens and is fine with older, mellow dogs. She would probably do well with older (8+) respectful children. When she plays she is very gentle.

Some background on her: Fritter was trapped at a local feral cat colony with her sister Danish (who has been adopted). It has taken some time to get her to come out of her shell and she's doing GREAT, but may always retain a bit of shyness and wariness of strange people.     Fritter will need a home where her initial shyness is acceptable and where she can continue to be worked with to gain more confidence. Patience and understanding are required. She will reward her new family with a lot of fun and tons of love!   

Fritter's Ideal Home :  Shy cat savvy adopters (semi feral cat experience a plus), calm and predictable household, indoor only (due to her easily startled/shy nature), no declawing, must have another young playful cat or kitten friend. She would thrive in a home where she can get a lot of attention and play time.
