Mirabelle is an absolute love - she doesn't like to be held or sit in your lap, but she will greet you as you walk in the room, loves attention and pets and will rub her cheeck on your finger to "per herself" if you let her. She enjoys her toys and really loves her treats ("cookies" - typically given after her foster mom's morning shower) and occasional wet food ("dinner"). She free-feeds dry food and water. Mirabelle has had all of her teeth removed, but it doesn’t stop her from eating (no special diet needed, just a good quality food) or from playing! The tooth removal was due to an inflammatory condition that is completely resolved without teeth to flare it up - and she has no trouble eating dry food and no known health issues. If you allow her to, she’ll happily gnaw on your finger. She plays with toys, chases toes and laser lights, and her tongue often sticks out a little. Chasing her tail is another favorite game! When Mirabelle talks, it's not a loud obnoxious talk. If you talk to her, she will often talk back. When playing, she may meow to let you know she caught something. She has a clean bill of health and is easy to keep. If she could speak English, she’d tell you her mom’s sleep number is 100 and her dad’s is 29, but she is easy and will take any comfy bed, pillow, window bench, or sun spot. Mirabelle needs an indoor home for her health and safety. However, she would be most grateful for a safe outdoor enclosure or supervised visitation in an enclosed yard or deck, as she loves the fresh air and running around like a goofball in the grass chasing bugs. Mirabelle is NOT a dog fan and it is strongly recommended that one not even try, even with the best and most cat-friendly dog. She attacks dogs. She would love life most as an only cat, or even an only cat in her own space - in a home office or large bedroom as long as there are people there. You could then have as many dogs, cats, and other critters in the rest of the home and she wouldn't care. Such demands! Mirabelle has been spayed, tested for feline leukemia/feline AIDS, microchipped, treated for fleas, ear mites, and worms, and is current on her vaccinations. She is litter-box trained and ready to play! Her adoption fee is $110 cash.
